History.......................... Students will continue to study World War II- Chapter 27.  They will finish presentations on their assigned topics. We will begin to review for the final exam which will be given on Monday, May 19. They have been given a study guide as well as previous chapter exams.

 

 Literature.................  We are beginning to review for the final exam which will be given on Tuesday, May 20. Students have a study guide.

Reminders.............  Students also have the opportunity to experience interactive virtual or electronic field trips to Colonial Williamsburg this 3rd quarter. On Thursday, February, 7 students in Room 207 took part in "No Master Over Me", the story of Matthew Ashby, a free African American, who worked to have his wife Ann Ashby and their children freed from bondage. When students throughout America were given the opportunity to call in their questions, Lisa Parker's question from Bloomfield Hills was the first to be asked and answered during this live broadcast. On Thursday, March 6 Room 208 will learn how conservators prevent or slow the damage caused by "agents of destruction" to artifacts in the interactive broadcast of "Treasure Keepers". Students in Room 9 will follow the lives of several journeymen fresh from their apprenticeships in trades and business as they learn how skill and opportunity will impact their careers on April 10 in the broadcast of "The Industrious Tradesmen".  If your schedule permits, please join your students at 10:00a.m. on these dates in Room 208.
